This year MAKSI was held in The Marantha Christian University as its hall was big enough to hold all of the students in my school
In the opening, we were shown some kind of performance acknowledging the heroes of Indonesia. It was much more better than I had expected.
Then, a song came about which is - 17 Agustus tahun 45 - which roughly translates to 17th of August 1945 which is the Independence day of Indonesia.
A show that was performed by the girls was up next. So far this was my favourite performance from all the others probably because it reminds me of a traditional Chinese dance...🌸🎶
Then, a performance about anti-drugs was shown, to be honest it was quite weird.
After all of that, the school performed some dances of the national tribes in Indonesia like Betawi, Aceh, Sunda, etc.
Aceh
Betawi/Jakarta
Sunda
Bali
We then finally finished the performance with a very famous song in Indonesia called "Gebyar-Gebyar"
All in all, this was such a fascinating concert to watch? I couldn't wait for the next two years as this year's was worth watching!
